Seb's site.

I grew up in Payson, Utah and graduated with a degree in Mathematics from the University of Utah in 2026. Currently I am studying for acturial exams and building coding projects. Lately I’ve been interested in building an 'apophatic' recommendation algorithm, i.e., based more on exclusion and negative preference than similarity; representing and exploring Cayley graphs for finitely presented groups, and developing some utilities to aid with financial math and probability.

My idea is that this website will be a place to house projects and thoughts. That could mean fun music stuff, stuff I code/create in Python/Java/C++, or self-study math notes I type up in LaTeX. I am a former Emacs enthusiast.

In school, I particularly enjoyed abstract algebra, topology, and upper-level real analysis. I hope to eventually post polished versions of my \(\LaTeX\) notes from those courses.
Notes on measures, operators, ergodicity from my real analysis class.

Music has been a major part of my life for years. I've been making noise with a guitar for a long time and spent...considerable time, in DAWs like Ableton, Logic, and FL Studio to make monstrosities. I lift weights and thus have some experience with workout tracking apps. Until I make my own one of these days, here’s a great short essay on lifting, Iron and the Soul by Henry Rollins.
